God of All Seasons
“And the manna ceased” (Joshua 5:12)
As I witness the amazing transition from summer to fall. I am reminded that sometimes in this journey we call life. We must lose something in a season of transition and change, so that the promise of God might be fulfilled in our life. Stop crying over want left, quite, or ended. It has served its purpose in its season, but that season has ceased, and it cannot accompany you into the promise.

Excerpt from Pastor Sawyer Message ”Advancing toward the Promise”.
The Book of Joshua is about moving toward God's promises, and obtaining victory over the enemy, but lasting victory rarely comes without a fight. As children of the Most High God, and heirs to the promise, we must understand that the enemy is going to do everything that he can, to stop us from entering into Gods purpose and promise for our lives, but in Joshua 1:1-11 we see God plan for advancement toward your promise.
So, the only questions that need to be asked is, are you ready to go and get your stuff?

The Power of Pentecost for a Progressive
Acts 2:1-4
1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
Today as we celebrate Pentecost Sunday. I am reminded not only of the sacrifice of our Savor, but also of the power of with we've been entrusted. It is the power to live the Christian life, the power to love one another, and it is the power to transformation this world with the gospel message of Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life."
The power of Pentecost is about being empowered to live life like Christ, for it His Holy Spirit that gives us confront and counsel was we seek to follow His word, "Loving God with all of our essence and loving our neighbor as we love yourselves". The power of Pentecost is the power His Spirit give us though the means of conversion and conviction as we seek to focus and submit our will to His divine purpose and plan.
Today as we live in an even more dark and dismayed world, looking for the light, what will you do as a Progressive Christ-ian with the power you've been entrusted with?
How will you example his love sacrifice, so that all my have the right to everlasting life. The power to do even greater works rest in you who believe. Will you except man's exclusion, and live with the lie, or will you embrace the power that rest in the fresh winds of truth?
You see, God's Love is for EVERYONE who believes without exception.
